Transitional Housing

Transitional housing was developed to ease the transition back into regular housing. Transitional programs were developed to increase the likelihood that those leaving homelessness continue to receive education, case management, services and support to sustain independent living in the community.

The BHA Transitions Program provides transitional housing and supportive services that bridge the gap from homelessness to stability. Families work closely with their Family Advocates to receive comprehensive services that equip them to live independently while gaining the skills and resources to maintain their own permanent housing.
