- Volunteer at one of our CACH Member Agencies providing housing and services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Host a Donation Drive. Coordinate with a CACH Member Agency – Call Ahead to Make Sure You Know What They Need Most At The Time – it might be Diapers or Children’s Clothing or Large Batch of Soup to be Frozen for future use. Make Your Drive As Meaningful As Possible!
- Become a CACH Social Media Ambassador. CACH is looking for people to help us spread the word about the issue of homelessness. Your network of friends, family and co-workers could help us connect and educate new people. A Social Media Ambassador is an everyday person who is comfortable using their social media platform to spread the work of CACH and create awareness about the issue of homelessness. All you need to have is an active Twitter or Facebook account and be willing to like, share and comment on CACH posts. The more people know, the more they can get involved. The more people are involved, the more we can make a difference.
- Volunteer at Downtown Daily Bread’s “Drop-in-Center” – In place of annual “Project Homeless Connect”, we encourage Project Homeless Connect Volunteers to learn more about the Drop-in-Center. The Drop-in-Center is a safe and secure area where people and families who are poor and homeless can come inside during the day to rest, connect to services, and socialize. Help Us Provide Year-Round Access to Much Needed Urgent Services To Our Friends & Families Who Are Homeless, or Dangerously Close to Becoming Homeless. Please visit Downtown Daily Bread to learn more about the Drop-In Center – and Please Contact Anne Guenin, aguenin@pinestreet.org (238-9304 x108), or Chris Patrick at 238-4717 x128 – to see how You Can Make A Difference!
