Downtown Daily Bread

  • Breakfast served Monday through Friday, 7 am – 8 am. Use side entrance on Willis Street Alley.
  • Lunch served daily, 12 pm – 1 pm, including weekends and holidays. Use side entrance on Willis Street Alley. Saturday and Sundays lunch is available in the Day Shelter (top floor).
  • Day Shelter Monday 7:00 am – 12:30 pm, Tuesday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Saturday-Sunday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. Use front entrance on 234 South Street
  • Services available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Showers, mail delivery, storage lockers, clothing, essential items (tents, blankets, backpacks), and one-on-one counseling assistance. All homeless individuals are welcome. To receive services, please visit the shelter in person to complete a very brief intake form.

  • Sunday Morning Community hot breakfast and food pantry.  8:00am – 9:00am

The Choice Food Pantry at The Salvation Army Harrisburg offerings choice shopping appointments every 30 days for participants who meet the TEFAP eligibility requirements. Appointments are required and scheduled each Thursday morning starting at 9am. You can call or come in person to our lobby to schedule your appointment to shop for the following week. Shopping times vary each week, but we offer morning, afternoon, evenings, and Saturdays). We also offer emergency boxes during normal business hours every 30 days.
